In recent years there have been many developments in employment law and regulation. All these developments are reflected in this edition. The book is intended to be a comprehensive and supportive text for those studying employment law, whether they are law students or others. It emphasises the importance of the European Union in shaping employment protection in this country and other Member States of the Community. It also tries to reflect the continuing changes that are taking place in the subject and includes a summary of the Equality Act 2010. Mostly it will provide the reader with a good understanding of employment law and, hopefully, encourage them to further study and research.
