I love trying and collecting kitchen gadgets almost as much as I love cooking. Lately, I have been seeing commercials for this new Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven and I thought, “Oh, that looks like fun” So, of course, I bought one! I couldn’t wait to get it home to see what I could cook and bake in it.
Once I started using it, I couldn’t stop. This compact oven does everything my old one did, but it uses less electricity and offers more options on how to cook your food. Like most Americans, I am a big fan of fried foods. However, I am not a fan of all those greasy calories. The fact that this oven has a built-in air fryer was a big selling point indeed.

I started with some of the recipes that came with the oven, but I quickly got bored with those. While they are good recipes, I consider myself a bit more of a gourmet in the kitchen. So, I got busy adapting some of my fancier and fun dishes to work with this new-fangled cooker. And I got to thinking, if I want a bigger variety of recipes then other folks would too. That is where this cookbook comes in.

I decided to put together a cookbook that anyone can use, even beginners. You will notice that all the recipes I included have easy-to-follow instructions. Like many people, I try to watch what I eat and I don’t like to work with a lot of processed foods. All of these recipes use common, easy to find ingredients without a lot additives or preservatives.

In keeping with the latest health trends and diets, the recipes also include complete nutrition information. Unlike many recipes, you will see the information listed includes potassium and phosphorus, which most cooks don’t list. While these recipes do use real, whole foods, they have not been created for folks on a diet.

This cookbook is for people who want to create tasty dishes without spending all day in the kitchen. Most of the recipes can be prepared in 15 minutes or less. And most of them can be on the table in under an hour. With today’s busy lifestyles, I know this is important to most of you.
I have broken down the chapters by categories of meals. For example, breakfast and brunch, desserts, and snacks and appetizers. I have even included a chapter with vegan and vegetarian dishes for any non-carnivores reading this book. And in case you didn’t read all the little print in the manual that came with your Air Fryer Toaster Oven, I included a chapter outlining everything you need to know about how to use and care for it. Now let’s get cooking!
