Neuropathology: A Volume in the Series: Foundations in Diagnostic Pathology, 2e

The goal of this second edition of Neuropathology in the Foundations in Diagnostic Pathology series remains the same as that in the first edition: to present the broad spectrum of neuropathology in an updated, clear, templated, and highly illustrated fashion. The goal is not to present an exhaustive review of all of neuropathology, nor did we want to merely sketch out the basics in an outline fashion. We want to give the reader an appreciation for the diversity and dynamic nature of the specialty and for the complexity and challenges it presents.

This second edition contains several updates in a number of the chapters, including newly recognized entities and reclassifications of previously described processes. This edition also includes added illustrations.

The field of neuropathology is ever changing, and our collective powers of observation and investigation continue to challenge and add to what we know, enriching our understanding.
