Whether you use traditional or new technology, the thirteenth edition of Hole’s Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology offers an interesting and readable introduction to how the human body accomplishes these tasks. The functioning of the body is not simple, and at times understanding may not seem easy, but learning how the body works is always fascinating and can be both useful and fun!
Many of you are on a path toward a career in health care, athletics, science, or education. Be sure to check out the Career Corner in every chapter.
