One Christmas when our grown children came to visit, I wanted to make it extra-special and fun. I thought of things that you might pack for a trip (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.) and wrote them down. I bought some inexpensive gifts and wrapped them. One night I told our grown kids that we were having a scavenger hunt. I explained that when I gave them the name of an item on the list, the first one to find it and bring it to me, would win a prize. You had to laugh to see these married adults racing around! That was four years ago and now every Christmas we each plan a game and buy little prizes for the winners… we love it!
